Tom began his career as a CPA and has spent the past 38 years in the insurance industry. His firm has been a proud Member Firm of M Financial Group since 2016. Through his work in estate and business succession planning, Tom helps clients structure insurance portfolios that transfer wealth across generations in a tax-efficient manner. Built on trusted relationships with clients and their advisors, Tom’s practice is defined by integrity, experience, and exceptional service. His commitment to excellence has enabled him to serve clients across the United States and gain extensive experience working with individuals from around the world.

To help achieve an exceptional level of service, Tom belongs to some of the industry’s most prestigious organizations, including being an Ambassador with Finseca. Tom also is very involved in the community. He is the past Chair of the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, the past Chair of the Huether Family Match Pointe Tennis Center, the past Chair of the Avera Philanthropy Council, and previously served on the board of the Vision Foundation. Tom is an active member and former president of the Downtown Rotary Club and volunteers his time with many other community organizations.
